I simply cannot get enough yarn. I am one of the obsessed. I love working many different angles that the medium offers. However, I am really only touching the tip of the iceberg. There are so many things that I have not had on my hook or my needles. I am excited to just jump right in and do EVERYTHING! However I need to try and be realistic. I am a full time working mother and wife. I really do not have all the time I really would like to devote to my yarn love.

- I am a yarnie, a book worm, a research fanatic and generally self taught DIYer. So when the time came for me to make my upcoming unborn niece my traditional crochet baby blanket gift, I balked. I made one, of course, but I wanted something more! I needed to add to the yarn stitchery tricks that I already knew. I started to research and found patterns for knitted baby garments and socks! How cute! Remembering the new mother’s adoration I felt for a knitted baby hat (a gift from the hospital) that my youngest son wore, I plunged that way and never looked back. The yarnie girl that is today was born. The Debbie Bliss baby hat dream and the Martha Stewart Poncho revived my yarn passion I kindled as a child years earlier. Since then I have dabbled in different forms of knitting from continental to combination, and in different mediums. The path I follow is unwound, free, and changing.
